Video: What criteria was used for NEW “pastorate” maps?

Apparently, the Archdiocese is now not using any of the 43 models proposed during the “Listening Sessions.” We heard all about “Families of Parishes” from the Archdiocese until we asked for the authority behind this concept, and then they stopped using that terminology and began using “mergers” instead. And now, they have admitted that by Canon Law, they cannot simply close and merge parishes based on their own ideas, so they have introduced a new term: “Pastorates.” As we go from 178 parishes which we currently have (and note that we have not ever called them “stand alone parishes”) to 88 “pastorates,” we want to know what is the criteria for choosing winners and losers of the current 178 parishes? We want to know what exactly is a “pastorate”?
