  1. In the Spring 2023 edition of Jesuits magazine, a publication of the Midwest Jesuit, has on pg 14 a short article that describes the parish grouping process that is underway in Detroit. The article focuses particularly on the two parishes the Jesuit staff. But it speaks to the general process as well. At one point it says “we know we need to embrace expanded lay involvement and empowerment. ….. this includes a full time ministerial leadership position on staff – a parish director.”
