The latest implementation of All Things New is happening once again without any transparency or clarity: Closing of elementary schools will begin. Fr. Chris Martin said in the video last year that “We are not talking about schools now because schools are a function of the Parish.” We couldn’t agree with you more! Parochial schools are a function of the Parish. No one beyond the Parish or the Parish Pastor has any authority whatsoever, not in Canon Law or in any other way. No one has the ability to say to your parish how much you choose to subsidize your school!! What is the Office of Catholic Education and Formation? Who works for them? Why do we even need them? Let’s call them out! (SEE STAFF LIST BELOW)
