By definition, if you want to evangelize, you must meet with and engage with people who think something other than what you do. Those may be people who believe or know that the abuse of power in our Church continues even to this day. Why won’t you have public meetings and answer any and all questions? Marie Kenyon used to be in charge of our CCHD (Catholic Campaign for Human Development) program which Lepanto Institute has proven gives funds to anti-Catholic groups. Look at the Core Values of the Southern Vicariate. It says NOTHING about being faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, faithful to Canon Law, or faithful to Holy Mother Church. Why is that? In their video about schools, they actually show Good Shepherd School — which they have killed with inaccurate financials. They will use their power for control. They will pressure those priests to give up your schools. If you are not fighting to defend your schools right now, you are not helping your parish survive at all. You have to show up, you have to be respectful, you have to pray for them, you have to document everything they say and do in writing, so basically you have to act!
