VIDEO: The abuse crisis is not a thing of the past! It is happening now and it is an abuse of power

Although people refer to the crisis in the Church as a sexual abuse crisis, it is actually an abuse of power crisis. Everything we share here is from public documents available to all. We are trying to connect the dots. During bankruptcy, the Archdiocese claims that parishes and parish schools are completely independent of the Archdiocesan operations, and that they are NOT under their control which is accurate under the Catholic principal of subsidiarity and Canon Law. They only make this claim when they are trying to evade liability and responsibility without taking any accountability. But once the bankruptcy is over, the Archdiocese reasserts control over the parishes and parish schools and do whatever they want. During the bankruptcy proceedings, they claim that all the parishes and parish schools are essential to their mission and they cannot get rid of any of them. As soon as they get their discharge in bankruptcy, they now have free reign to assert that certain things are not necessary to their mission, and they want to close parishes, sell them off, and covert that to the general chancery.
