Defending The Faith, Saving Sacred Space

VIDEO: We want transparency and to be heard

We are praying daily for Archbishop Rozanski, Bishop Rivituso, and Fr. Chris Martin, and for the Holy Spirit to guide All Things New. We are close to launching the website and releasing the Procurator Mandate. Archdiocesan leadership should cheerlead for helping people have a say in these changes to their parishes by helping the laity have a clear understanding of their canon law rights and being heard. I will be on KMOX Radio tomorrow Tuesday November 8 at 11:30 am and I will talk specifically about this very issue: simply want TRANSPARENCY and being able to be HEARD.

I am a supporter of Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano. I am a Navy veteran and SLU grad and studied with the Vincentians. —The synod process is totally orchestrated to create a new world socialist Church. The former Jesuit writer Malachi Martin who died in 1999 wrote down the blueprint in his books. He read the Third Secret and knew the agenda.

Along with my large family we are charter members of Ste Genevieve du Boise Church in Warson Woods, having joined in 1957
Besides all the graces received over these years, our 7 children have been the beneficiaries of being trained, both in our faith and education,at this blue ribbon school thru graduation there. Praise the Lord!

We are alarmed at the possibility of our Parish n School being closed or consolidated!
Why is it even possible that such action is being considered?

Strictly as an edifice, there is NO other parish in the Archdiocese that has been more beautiful n superbly constructed and maintained than the Church, School, Rectory, Offices, Gymnasium, Meeting Rooms, n palatial grounds and playing fields of Ste. Gen! Replacement costs by any measure would be in the multi millions of $! And our Parish is n will be more than fully funded!

So many of my neighbors n friends have chosen to build, buy n live in Warson Woods primarily because of Ste. Gen! Without a doubt this is what my late beloved wife, Rosemary, and I did. And today, just think of what our current young families have done….relying on Ste. Gen Church n School being there to worship n have their children being trained n educated their Catholic Faith n character…..not some other distant, strange n overcrowded parish.

So please add these considerations n our prayers in making the decision to keep our Ste Gen Parish fully alive n operational. I pray during my weekly hour before the Blessed Sacrament that this be the case

Thank you n as I always say to my large family: God Bless!

Sacred Heart Valley Park has almost all of its’ debt paid. It’s a beautiful church that should be kept open, rather then trying to have its’ parishioners go to another church. The surrounding churches aren’t as pretty and it’s harder to become spiritually connected with God in a less vibrant parish. Sacred Heart Valley Park parishioners/priests are welcoming.

I am a 45 year member of St. Bridget of Kildare in Pacific( 75 yr Catholic). I was going through the financial packs about our school funding status, the Archdiocese notes that we provide 31% of our revenues to the school versus the 21% recommended by the Archdiocese. Their comments seem to say that this is a BAD THING. We are able to do this because of two estates totaling $1.2 million that were given to support our school.Their stated purpose of All Things New is to better spread the Faith and encourage growth in the numbers of faithful that truly practice what they believe. What better way than Catholic Schools. Take the overall monies, like that consecrated in St. Charles County and support our schools. Rosatie Kain and St. Mary High schools could be combined into one campus , sell that valuable piece of property on Lindel ( the old school) and spend it on Catholic education for ant that want to attend.
